Welcome back fashion week!

Welcome back fashion week!

We feel like saying out loud welcome back fashion week!

Last year's Milan Fashion Week was held behind closed doors, due to the pandemic situation that Covid-19 brought us into.

We followed the shows remotely, via social and media.

There is no shortage of innovation and sensitivity to current issues on the part of designers, fashion responds and becomes a communicative spokesperson on the needs of human existence, and the response to the news of these days is immediate.

This confirms the collaboration that has been rumoured for months between Gucci and Adidas, which structures the collections to create completely new garments, free from classicism and gender impositions,

The sartorial-sportwear pairing is not new to the fashion scene: among the capsules presented over time we find Vuitton and Dior with NIKE, Fendi and Fila, Vivienne Westwood and Asics, Msgm and Diadora... the list is long!

On the catwalks, there is a need to break down barriers, an explosion of counter-trends that cry out for personal freedom in the deepest sense of existence, gender equality and culture are the themes that permeate fabrics and models.

We went looking for trends and rankings among the most authoritative sources. Vogue impressed us and brought us the best examples of streetwear, collecting the best outfits worn during the week, captured by streetreporter Phil Oh, and we link some of them here!

How can we fail to notice the return of the early 2000s, a dynamic style that screams freedom, we have already seen during the presentation of the spring-summer collections the return of the corset, which we got rid of 100 years ago (read the article) as a symbol of revolution, the corset left untidy and semi-unfastened becomes the spokesperson of a memory of independence to be found again, it follows in a physiological way the leaving of the abdomen and legs bare in the next season.

Green light to pure #y2k then (read the article coming next week!).
